COVID-19 FAQ’s

Our office has received a ton of questions related to COVID-19 and the Carter County Mayor’s executive order. We’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions here to help answer some of the common ones.

We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you read the county mayor’s executive order. That will help clarify most of the misunderstandings and answer the rumors we’ve heard throughout the county. The mayor’s order closely reflects the content in the governor’s “Stay at Home” order. The mayor’s order is currently in effect until April 21, and the governor’s order is in effect until April 30. Both can be renewed.

We’ve also linked the list of the Tennessee Governor’s executive orders, as well as the CDC’s FAQ page regarding COVID-19 questions.
