Carter County Sheriff’s deputies have released the name of the victim of a deadly shooting that took place in Hampton on Friday.
43-year-old Alan Lyle Jansma of Hampton was killed in the parking lot of a McDonald’s near Highway 19E. He was found dead by deputies at the scene.
Deputies have arrested and charged 64-year-old Steve Mack Miller with Jansma’s murder. He is being held in the Carter County Detention Center on a $400,000 dollar bond.
